Large Format Printing Manchester

Contact Us

When businesses in Manchester ask about “printing”, they usually mean one of two things: small format digital printing leaflets, business cards, brochures, flyers, booklets or something much bigger. Large format printing in Manchester is the bigger kind: banners, posters, point-of-sale displays, wall graphics, exhibition backdrops, construction hoardings and vehicle graphics. It’s the print you stand back from, not the print you sit at a desk reading.

Repute Branding’s in-house large format print services run from our Trafford Park production unit, supplying Manchester businesses, agencies and national brands with high-quality printed graphics that stand up to weather, sunlight and years of use

Our In-House Large Format Presses

We handle large format print, not A4 office printing, photocopied leaflets or small-run business cards. Our commercial digital presses run widths up to 3.2 metres and effectively unlimited lengths — every job printed, laminated and finished in-house at Trafford Park.

That gives us the scale to produce full shop window graphics, 6-metre banners, exhibition stand panels, wall murals and construction hoardings on demand, in full colour, on the right media for the job.

We run both eco-solvent and UV-cure inks. Eco-solvent gives us flexible, durable output for vehicle wraps and outdoor banners; UV curing lets us print straight onto rigid boards, acrylic and Foamex with instant drying. The result: a print range that covers everything from a sharp A0 retail poster to a 40m² construction hoarding.

Our Large Format Print Services

PVC Banners & Mesh Banners

PVC banners are still the workhorse of outdoor large format print. We print them on 440gsm and 510gsm frontlit vinyl for general outdoor use, mesh banner for scaffolding and windbreak-prone sites, and block-out vinyl for double-sided outdoor use. Every banner is hemmed, eyeleted and ready to hang. Full colour, UV-stable inks, photo-grade detail.

Posters, Prints & Wall Graphics

Large posters for shop windows, office receptions, showrooms, waiting rooms and events. We print on satin, gloss and matte poster papers, self-adhesive vinyls for walls, and heavy art papers for premium pieces. For bigger pieces we tile across multiple panels and colour-match across the seam so you can’t see the joins.

Point of Sale (POS) Displays

Shelf wobblers, counter cards, dump bins, FSDUs, showcard inserts and retail point-of-sale graphics in quantities from 1 to 1,000. Printed on Foamex, Correx, 1mm polypropylene, ACM or foamboard depending on weight and lifespan. Great for short campaigns where you need high quality but don’t want to pay for offset litho runs.

Exhibition Graphics & Roll-Up Banners

We print the full range of exhibition graphics for trade shows, showrooms and launch events — pop-up stand panels, fabric backwalls, roll-up banners, tension banner stands and modular displays. Every graphic is sized to fit your specific stand system and packs down for easy transport and reuse. Browse our dedicated exhibition banners page or our full event branding services range.

Vehicle Graphics & Window Graphics

Our large format print services feed directly into our vehicle graphics and window graphics in Manchester work — printed cast vinyls, one-way vision film, frosted vinyl and full-colour window decals. The same press that prints a shopfront window also prints the panels on a modular vehicle wraps project, so colour, brand and finish are identical across every surface.

Construction Hoardings & Site Signage

Site hoardings, safety signage, project boards and construction site branding printed on Foamex, Correx or ACM sheet and installed to timber hoarding panels. Hoardings are one of the most effective ways to promote a development or rebrand while work is ongoing — we can turn around 20–40m of printed hoarding in a matter of days. Manchester developers and main contractors use us for rapid print and install on live sites.

Materials, Media & Print Quality

The material matters as much as the print. Here’s the shortlist we work with and where each one fits:

Every print is produced at the highest quality setting and inspected before it leaves the unit. Our digital printing presses hold tight colour consistency across runs, so if you reorder the same banner six months later the finish matches.

Turnaround Times & Manchester Delivery

Turnaround depends on size, media and finishing, but here’s what to expect:

We deliver across Greater Manchester ourselves for local jobs, and nationwide via tracked courier for larger contracts. If the artwork needs installation — hoardings, vehicle wraps, window graphics — our fitters handle it end to end.

We Also Handle Small-Format Print

Large format is our focus, but we handle small-format print alongside every big job. Brochures, leaflets, flyers, booklets, fold-out menus, stickers and promotional print runs — we’ll print, bind, fold and finish them in one go.

That includes litho and digital short runs, UV-printed stickers, promotional POS inserts and full-colour brochures. One supplier covering everything from a business-card batch to a 40-metre hoarding saves you briefing separate specialists for each element of a campaign.

Our finishing equipment handles widths up to 3.2m and standard business print widths in one unit, with colour managed to the highest quality across every product.

Who We Print For

Our large format printing services in Manchester work for:

We’re set up to handle both one-off jobs for small businesses and repeat production for brand rollouts. The same Manchester print team runs a single roll-up banner as runs a 200-unit retail POS campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions

Large format covers any print wider than A3 produced on a wide-format digital press. In practice that means posters, banners, POS, window graphics, vehicle graphics, exhibition panels, wall murals and construction hoardings. If you can stand back from it and read it from across the room, it’s large format.

Our digital presses handle widths up to 3.2 metres and effectively unlimited lengths. For pieces wider than 3.2m we panel and colour-match across multiple prints so the seams are invisible. That means whole walls, full shop windows and 40m+ construction hoardings are all possible.

For outdoor use we print on 440–510gsm frontlit PVC banner, mesh banner for windy sites, and cast vinyl for anything that needs to conform to curves or glass. Everything is printed with UV-stable inks and laminated where needed for extra durability. Outdoor banners typically last 2–3 years and cast vinyl wraps up to 8+ years.

Straightforward single-unit jobs like a PVC banner or A0 poster are usually 1–3 working days. Larger runs, exhibition builds and full vehicle graphics take 5–10 working days. For urgent same-day jobs in Greater Manchester, call us first thing and we’ll do our best to slot it in.

Both. If you have print-ready PDFs we’ll check them for bleed, colour profile and resolution before printing. If you don’t, our in-house designer will create custom artwork from your brand guidelines or from rough ideas. You’ll see proofs before anything is printed.

It depends on the media and the environment, but as a guide: PVC banners last 2–3 years, mesh banners 2–4 years, cast vinyl vehicle wraps 5–8 years, and laminated window graphics 3–5 years. Direct sunlight, salt air and high-pressure washing all shorten lifespan. We’ll specify the right media for your expected life.
